Lucky, Ayla and Tearmark - January 2011

Lucky, Ayla and Tearmark have a much bigger enclosure now that Samira has moved down to the volunteer area and the two cheetah camps have been made into one bigger enclosure.

Now Lucky and the two cubs have more room to walk, play and rest. They also have more space the frighten the new volunteers who feed them each day by hissing as they approach the fence! 

The volunteers approach the cats nervously and distract them by throwing their meat to them, while they circle the camp clearing away any bones and excrement. Lucky, Ayla and Tearmark are more than happy when it's feeding time and are completely engrossed in their food - they're far to busy to be bothered by people!
