Fi and her 3 cubs remain very evasive in the temporary holding camps, which we're pleased about as their natural instincts to fear humans remain in tact.
As such it's very rare we catch a glimpse of them, but when we do they look very healthy and in good condition. Clearly Mummy Fi is doing a very good job raising her babies.

To ensure they remain as wild as possible we will disrupt their feeding so that they don't because used to a system or pattern of feeding. We shall alter the times of day we feed, the direction from which we drive and the areas in the camp where we place the food. Usually when the car pulls up for feeding they bolt and run away immediately. However, one day we were lucky enough to get a few photos of them...
Flo is hoping to translocate the family later this year, we're not sure of their destination yet but it will be at one of our release sites in Solitaire, NamibRand or Sandfontein. We'll keep you posted!
